About Me
- Iffet
- I am a former professional Horn player turned full-time Mom and part-time Fitness Instructor. I graduated from The Juilliard School with a Bachelor's and Master's in Music Performance and then joined the Richmond Symphony in 1995. I stopped playing with the Symphony in '99 and had my first daughter in 2000. My second blessed us in 2004. My husband, Scott is the Bass Trombonist with the RSO and is a Software Engineer. I started teaching Yoga at in 2005, and I became a Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance in March of 2007, completing my 200-Hour teacher training through Yoga Fit, Inc. I still teach Horn privately. Next to being a wife and a mom, I truly love teaching and sharing the joy of Yoga. I believe the world can be made better by sharing our gifts.
